All registered adult learners enrolled in the Alexandria Literacy Project are eligible to attend the class. During the first class hour, learners use computer assisted instruction to work individually towards their educational goals. On Xmas Day, I made a turkey dinner for our family. My husband and I went to Minneapolis and spent New Year's Day with his family. On New Year's Day, I resolved to eat less and exercise more in order to lose weight. I was thankful that I was able to spend Thankgiving Day with my husband, brother, sister, niece and her family. The traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all of the trimmings was served at our house. My husband helped me cook the meal. My sister and niece also brought some of the food. I was also thankful that we were able to spend some time with my husband's family on Saturday.
